About The Innovative Technologies Centre

The Innovative Technologies Centre (ITC), part of Bradford College has been greatly supported in past few years by Yorkshire Forward, European Union Regional Development Fund, LSC and many other supporting organisations and agencies in order to become one of the focal points for the innovation in Yorkshire.

The Centre is supporting local entrepreneurs and fledgling businesses in incubation units. It is also a training facility equipped with a range of high-tech hardware and software and is professionally recognised as an Academy for Microsoft, and Cisco.

In addition to the incubation units, the ITC houses the WOW Academy which was officially opened in June 2006, when Bill Rammell, Minister of State for Lifelong Learning, Further and Higher Education, unveiled a ‘virtual’ plaque. The WOW Academy is a unique education and training facility that aims to inspire teachers, young people, trainees and employers to develop an interest in digital and creative media using state-of-the-art technology.

Tenant’s businesses in this futuristic Centre, are in pole position to make a flying start in the creative and digital arena. They have access to the advanced technologies including video capturing and editing, 3D filming, photography and imaging, 3D stereoscopic technology, games technology, animation, motion capture and virtual reality. However, centre’s training rooms and facilities as well as equipment is available to all.
